Issue:
A supervisor would like to request a LinkedIn Learning course for their team.
Environment:
LinkedIn Learning
Cougar ED (Absorb LMS)
Resolution:
LinkedIn Learning houses hundreds of courses that can be helpful to your team. Many of them are already in CougarEd. So begin by searching there.
The example displayed here is a search for a course on managing culturally diverse teams.
Start with Cougar ED

Navigate to and sign in to Cougar Ed.

Click on the Search icon, enter your search criteria and select return on your keyboard.

Review the search outcome.

If the desired course is already available, email cougared@cofc.edu with the names of the individuals you would like enrolled.

Alert your team for an email indicating their enrollment and a link to participate.
If the course is not in Cougar ED
- Navigate to LinkedIn Learning (you may need to sign in through Office.com and select the LinkedIn Learning app).
- In the Search field, enter your search criteria and select the Search icon.
- Note the name of the course you want and email cougared@cofc.edu with the course name and the names of the individuals you would like enrolled.
- Alert your team for an email indicating their enrollment and a link to participate.
