Update Adobe Creative Cloud (Named User Licenses)

Issue:

My Adobe Creative Cloud license was updated on Monday, September 27th- how do I access it with the new license?

Audience:

Faculty and Staff with paid Adobe Creative Cloud licenses

Cause: 

The College of Charleston has recently renewed our contract with Adobe for the Creative Cloud suite.  As a part of the new contract, the IT Department will need to move current Adobe Creative Cloud users to the new Adobe console.  We will be doing this early Monday morning, September 27^th.   

Resolution:

After the license update on 9/27/2021, your access to the Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) applications will be the same as it is currently, but you'll need to sign out/sign back into your account for the new license.

Sign Out/Sign Into Adobe

1. Open Adobe CC on your computer.
   • For Mac users: You can find that by choosing the Go option in your top toolbar and selecting Applications. You'll see Adobe Creative Cloud listed there if it is installed.
     • 
   • For PC Users: You can choose the Start menu icon in the far left corner and search for Adobe Creative Cloud. It will list out the application if it is installed on your computer.

2. Once Adobe CC is running, click on the blue icon in the upper right hand part of the window and choose Sign Out.

3. Click Continue on the new window that appears.
   • 
4. To sign into your Adobe account, please enter your College of Charleston email address and click Continue.
5. You'll be prompted to sign in with your Adobe password. NOTE: This password is not your CofC password- it you cannot remember your Adobe password, please use the link named Reset Your Password to create a new one.
6. After signing in, you will be able to use your Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
