How to Switch Profiles in MyPortal

How do I:

I have more than one role at College of Charleston. How do I switch profiles in MyPortal to see my other tiles?

When I signed in, I chose Staff, but I need to see my Student tiles. How do I see my student tiles?

 

Audience:

Faculty, Staff, Students

 

Reason: 

MyPortal organizes apps in tiles. With so many tiles available, it can be hard to find what you are looking for. To help with this, MyPortal is now able to tailor the tiles you see according to your role at the college. If you have more than one role, you will choose the profile you want to see when you first log in, but have the option to switch profiles at any time.

 

Instructions:

Desktop

  1. In the upper right corner, click on the drop down arrow, and choose Select profile Screenshot of selecting profile
  2. Choose which profile you would like to view Screenshot of selecting a profile between Student, Faculty, Staff, Alumni

 

 

Mobile App

  1. Click the drop down arrow at the top of the app, right under the College of Charleston heading
  2. Choose the profile you would like to view

Alternatively, you can tap Settings within the app, and in the Current Profile section tap Change Profile, and choose the profile you would like to view.
