Issue:
I can't open a [Google] document someone sent me in email.
How do I get or create a CofC Google Apps account?
Environment:
Employees
Google Apps
Resolution:
First, if you don't have a Google Apps account, you can create it by:
- Log into MyCharleston
- Go to the Employee tab
- In the Google Apps channel on the left, click the link to "Request your account today!"
After the account is created, sign out of any other Google accounts, then sign into your CofC Google Apps account:
- Click the Google icon at the top of MyCharleston to get to the sign-in page for Google Apps, or go to accounts.google.com.
- The log-in information for Google Apps will be the same as your CofC email address and MyCharleston password.
- Once you are logged into the account, try accessing the Google document again.
If you have a CofC Google Apps account already, but cannot log in, you can synchronize the password online to match your MyCharleston password.
