Authorized Users eBill Login Help

Issue:

I have been set up as an authorized user for eBill, but cannot log in.

Environment:

Windows, Mac, etc.

Touchnet Authorized Users eBill portal.

Resolution:

The Treasurer's Office has granted pre-authorized users access to a student's billing records via the Touchnet Authorized User's eBill portal. A user needs to be set up by the student prior to log in- this is done through their MyPortal account. Information on that process can be found on the Office of the Treasurer's website.

 

Logging In

If you, an authorized user, have issues logging into your account, follow these steps:

  1. To get to the authorized users login page, navigate to myportal.cofc.edu and select the Guest profile option.
  2. Once in the Guest profile, you will see an option for eBill- select that.
    1. Alternatively, you can navigate to the direct site. Authorized User's eBill
  3. Once at the login screen, you can log in with the email address your student set up the account with and the password that was sent to you when the account was set up.
  4. If you do not know the password, you can have a new one sent to you:
    1. Enter your email address in the Email: field
      • Not sure what email address to use? Talk with your student. He or she can view their eBill account to see what address was used to set up your Authorized User account.
    2. Then click the link on that page that says Forgot Your Password? It should be right under the email login and password prompt.
    3. A new temporary password will be sent to your email address, and you will be prompted to change the password when you log in.

 

Account Locks

If you have a lock from failed login attempts on your Authorized Users eBill account, it can take up to 30 minutes for that lock to expire to allow login. Neither the IT Service Desk nor the Treasure's Office will be able to manually remove the lock.
