Why am I unable to see a particular student listed in the Global Address Book?

As a student, how do I restrict my information from being publicly accessible in the online directory?

Resolution:

You can control what personal information is shared as Directory Information via the Release of Directory Information checklist online. To access that, please do the following:

  1. Log into MyCharleston at my.cofc.edu.
  2. Once logged in, select the Academic Services or Alumni tab.
  3. On that new page, locate the option for Banner Self Service. Select the name to see the expanded folders.
  4. From the drop-down folders shown, choose Student.
  5. From the index of choices given, select Release of Directory Information.

In this portal, you can make selections on what items, such as name, address, phone, etc, you wish to release as Directory Information.
