How do I submit a request for assistance with Information Technology?


I want to use the client web portal to submit a service request.


Internet access, using any browser, or mobile device, on or off campus


1. Access

2. Click Submit a Ticket

3. Search, or Browse for the Service that you feel best fits the issue

There are three ways to search for a service:

  • Search by using the search field in the top right
  • Use the Services A-Z choice list
  • Narrow the results by selecting the search field from the menu bar, and adding a category

4. Click on the name of the service for more information

5. Click Submit Request link on the top right of the service details page

6. If you are not already logged into the portal system, you will be requested to log in. Provide your MyCharleston account information.

7. Provide the requested information within the form.

8. Click Request. Selecting the Request Assistance button will trigger the creation of the incident or service request.
