How to install Sentinel One

Issue:

You need to install Sentinel One to a computer

Environment:

Windows

Mac

Resolution:

Windows:

1. Click on the windows button at the bottom left of the screen.
2. Type Software Center in the Start menu to search through your PCs programs.
3. When Software Center pops up, press enter.
4. In Software Center click the Install button under the SentinelOne icon.
5. SentinelOne will now install on your computer.

To ensure that SentinelOne installed correctly, go to your Control Panel, then Add or Remove Programs. SentinelOne will be on this list.

Mac:

1. Open Finder.
2. Go to Self Service.
3. Under Self Service search for SentinelOne, then press the install button.

You will know when SentinelOne is finished installing by the prompts from Self Service and the new icon on the Mac's top toolbar.

SentinelOne is a very quiet Install, and there is no user interface to access it with. Only the IT desktop OS team can even see SentinelOne's settings.

Be aware that you won't be able to interact with SentinelOne like Kaspersky or Symantec.
