Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) - "Sign In Required"

ISSUE:

Anytime I try to launch an Adobe application, a screen appears telling me that "Sign In Required. Signing in with an Adobe ID is required to Activate the software. Enter your Adobe ID to access your membership and register your product."

Audience:

CofC faculty and staff

Environment:

Liscensed Adobe Creative Cloud software:

Photoshop

InDesign

Illustrator

Lightroom

Dreamweaver

Cause:

Adobe Creative Cloud requires a purchased license. You must sign into your Adobe Account in order to activate the product with your license.

Note: This only applies to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. This does not apply to Adobe Acrobat Pro. The college has a site wide license for Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Resolution:

  1. Click Sign In Now
  2. Sign-in with your college email address and the password you setup (May not be the same as your college password)
  • If you forgot your password click Forgot Password?
  • Enter your CofC Email Address as the Adobe ID and click Next
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed
