Add a Photo to an Existing Album on an iPad

Issue:

I took a picture on my iPad, but when I try to add it to an album, it only gives me an option to create a new album. 

How do I add a picture to an existing album?

Environment:

iPad

iOS 12

Resolution:

Instead of going to the picture and attempting to add it to the album, go to the existing album and add the picture.

1. Open your Photos app on your iPad
2. Tab on Albums at the bottom 
3. Select the Album you wish to update
4. Click the + to Add a Photo
5. Tap the photo(s) you wish to add to select it
6. Tap Done
