How do I reset my Cmail password?

How do I reset my CofC Google Apps password (employee)?

Environment:

Cmail accounts for Students and Alumni

Google Apps (non-mail enabled) account for Employees

Resolution:

**For Students: You will not be able to synchronize your Cmail password to MyCharleston if you have never logged into your Cmail account before. If this is your first time logging in, see this article instead.

To reset your Cmail/Google Apps password to match your MyCharleston password:

1. Log into MyCharleston
2. Select the My Accounts tab
3. In the upper left corner, click the link to Synchronize Your Google Apps Password
4. Click Yes, and Proceed
5. After a moment, you will get a message that states it is successfully synchronized
6. Once synchronized, you can sign into your account online via the Google (Employee) or Cmail (Student) icons in MyCharleston. The username will be your CofC email address and your password will be your current MyCharleston password.
