Multi-factor Authentication Request To Enable

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a method of authentication that requires the use of more than one verification method and adds a second layer of security to user sign-ins and transactions.

Before IT can enable MFA on your College account, you must have two secondary delivery methods available and ready to use for authentication from the list below. Methods are listed in recommended order, based on ease of use.

   - Microsoft Authenticator App

   - Cellular phone (for verification through text message or voice)

   - Personal email account (not your account).

Do not Submit Request until you have two of the above secondary delivery methods for MFA authentication.

If you would like to use a personal email account for authentication, but do not have one, go to Google Support and follow the instructions to set one up. If you need further assistance in creating a personal email account, please go to Click on Chat with the Service Desk or call (843) 953-3375.
